Description
PC Access software for End Users allows the user complete setup, programming and monitoring of his or her system; however, this version of the software does not allow access to certain items that are normally set up only by the installer.
PC Access runs on Windows-based computers and can be connected to the controller directly via RS-232 or remotely, using the computer's modem or the controller's ethernet port.
It allows fast and convenient set up of all names, voice, automation programs, security codes, and all other configuration items.
It has Status pages to show the status of all system components, including door and window sensors, lights appliances, thermostats, expanders, and more. A command section allows remote control using the computer, and the event log may be displayed. Automation Programming is easy using HAI's Advanced Control Programming.
PC Access has features to cut/copy/paste groups of programs between files, and a search feature to find a particular group of programs in the program list.
PC Access stores the complete setup of the controller on the computer's hard disk drive for backup purposes.
The software allows the following functions to be performed:
- Create and maintain account files
- Download an account file to your system
- Upload an account file from your system
- Print an account file
- Create/view/modify programs
- View/modify unit, zone, button, code, area, and message names
- View/modify unit, zone, button, code, area, and message voice descriptions
- View/modify setup information
- View event log
- View status of system, zones, units, and temperatures
- Send control, security, button, temperature, and message commands to your system
Product Requirements:
- Supports the HAI Omni LT, Omni, Omni II, OmniPro, and OmniPro II automation controllers.
- This software package will run under the Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows ME, Windows 2000, and Windows XP operating systems.
Note that your software must be registered with HAI in order to receive technical support from HAI on this product.
